Pangée is thrilled to announce its participation in NADA Miami (Dec 5-10, 2023) bringing together Grace Kalyta and Brittany Shepherd in a duo-presentation.
Both practices facilitate recognition that is then quickly subverted. Kalyta dresses her work with found accessories and Shepherd reconstitutes found images. In turn, there is an invitation, a familiarity, that then slips, creating breaks in perception. Façades abound and are broken down.
